چکیده
Abstract Bacterial infection and impaired angiogenesis make the treatment of diabetic foot ulcers (DFU) extremely challenging. Cationic polymers are expected to treat infected wounds due their excellent antibacterial properties, but still, it is difficult meet therapeutic needs pro‐angiogenesis anti‐infections simple construction units outmoded synthesis methods. Herein, a cationic poly(pentahydropyrimidine) (PPHP) library with strong modifiability synthesized construct hybrid hydrogel synergistic effects for DFUs. It found that as‐synthesized can up‐regulate angiogenesis‐related gene (HIF‐1, VEGF, bFGFR/bFGF) expression targeted disruption bacterial cell membranes, which finally promotes healing DFU (wound rate: 92%) within 10 days. This hydrogel, thus, holds great promise in developing new strategies significantly enhance other bacterial‐infected pathological diagnoses.

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy for diabetic foot ulcers.
Foot ulcers are a common and devastating complication of diabetes. Many patients with diabetic foot ulcers experience significant disability and ultimately require amputation. Despite attentive management with multiple modalities including surgical debridement, relief of pressure, and other standard measures, many diabetic foot ulcers persist as chronic, nonhealing wounds. Hyperbaric oxygen (HB...

OBJECTIVE To review underlying causes of diabetic foot ulceration, provide a practical assessment of patients at risk, and outline an evidence-based approach to therapy for diabetic patients with foot ulcers. QUALITY OF EVIDENCE A MEDLINE search was conducted for the period from 1979 to 1999 for articles relating to diabetic foot ulcers. Most studies found were case series or small controlled...
متن کاملTopical Stem and Progenitor Cell Therapy for Diabetic Foot Ulcers
The prevalence of diabetes mellitus is increasing to epidemic proportions worldwide. Diabetic foot ulceration can affect up to 25 percent of people with diabetes mellitus throughout their lives. The most significant complication of foot ulceration is lower limb amputation, which arises from pre-existing ulcers in the majority of cases. Despite current clinical care protocols for ulcer treatment...

Background: Patients with diabetes mellitus frequently present with foot infections as a complication, which are up to 20% of hospital admissions. On treatment of the wounds with low level laser therapy (LLLT) major changes (Increased granulation tissue, fibroblast proliferation, collagen synthesis, early epithelialization and enhanced neovascularisation) can be seen. The objective of study was...
